Chloe is walking!

I picked up Chloe from daycare today and Ms. Sharon said that she took one step today. Chloe started standing on her own 2 weeks ago on Saturday.

Tonight when we got home, I had to unpack from my crazy 2 trips... one to San Antonio Texas for work and another from North Carolina seeing my husband! :) So, as I was unpacking, I had the backyardigans on tv. Chloe absolutely LOVES this show and I would love to personally give the creators a SUPER HUG for the catchy little beginning and songs throughout the show!

So... as I was unpacking, Chloe was standing there, and I was clapping to the music. Yes, she watches it, and I am the one that knows EVERY SINGLE SONG... :) So... as I was clapping, she was dancing. Then, lo and behold... she starts with a step. Then another, then another! I wanted to scream and scoop her up with excitement, but I kept on clapping and clapping and singing. Then finally she comes to me and I hug her for like an entire 2 mins! I was so excited! :)

I wanted to see her do it again just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. So I stand her up abou 2 feet away from me and clap and sing... and she does it again!!! I am so excited!!! :)

She is growing up so fast, but she is more and more fun each and every day. I love watching her do new things and I am excited that she will be a runner by the end of the week! A lot of parents tell me, "oh no... you can wait on the walking part," but seriously Im ready! Just don't mention the "Chloe dating" thing... Im surely NOT ready for that! :)
