Wow... It has been forever since i posted anything! Almost a year! So many things have happened in my busy life! I moved to Jacksonville, NC, (hubby is stationed at Camp Lejuene). I have gotten a job with the Marines and I have to travel a ton! I just got back after playing in the California desert for a month! There is nothing like "Home Sweet Home!" I will try to be better at this.. just super busy! :)
Just wanted to let everyone know that after posting our house on Craigslist last Thursday, we already have a renter!!! Jerry and I were completely shocked about how fast it rented and just how many inquiries we had gotten about it! The renters are moving in on January 1st, 2009!!! :)
Yipeeee!!! One less thing that I have to worry about! Now let the job hunt begin... :)
Thank you to those that have served and are still serving in our Military.
"Veterans Day is an American holiday honoring military veterans. Both a federal holiday and a state holiday in all states, it is celebrated on the same day as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world, falling on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. (Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice.) Veterans Day is largely intended to thank veterans for their service, to acknowledge that their contributions to United States national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who served - not only those who died - have sacrificed and done their duty." I am a former Marine and married to a wonderful Marine. I am a full time working Mommy. Our daughter was born in December 2007, and my husband deployed on June 2, 2010.
